The founder of ABD, Jim Williams, has forty years of business experience, and it is his desire to share that accumulated knowledge with his clients to insure their future success no matter what business endeavor they may pursue.

After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in economics and finance in 1971, he went into the investment banking business in Portland, Oregon where he built a 50 million dollar investment banking firm with four offices in three states. In 1990 he retired to Las Vegas, Nevada where he started Las Vegas’ first gourmet coffee café, Jitters Gourmet Coffee, Inc. By the time the company was sold in 1999 he had built the company into a 17 store chain of 8 company owned stores and 9 franchises with total sales in excess of 4 million.

Since that time he has been involved in entity formation and the development of other business principals which culminated in 2003 in the formation of American Business Development a full service business consulting firm offering a wide variety of essential business structuring, financing and business building concepts.
